JItsi and jibri local setup

Followed the steps on Self-Hosting Guide - Debian/Ubuntu server | Jitsi Meet
and added the env ENABLE_RECORDING=1
On starting the recording it fails
Using the latest jitsi docker

• Trying on local sytem and public url is not set
  On debugging the logs for jibri container i see that jibri is trying to connect to https://meet.jitsi and thus failing with error
  ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Have you set PUBLIC_URL?

No the public url is not set,
Can you please help me understand why we need public url for local setup

You need to set it because Jibri will access it and unless it has a valid domain and cert it will fail to do so.
