Jitsi add on site with api

Hello,
how to add in IFrame Jitsi api. I understand all the documentation at https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/api.md but nowhere does it say how to insert it on the page only JavaScript

Just create an empty div, e.g.

<div id="meeting"></div>

Then reference that div in your options, e.g.

const options = {
    parentNode: document.querySelector('#meeting')
}
meetAPI = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI("meet.jit.si", options);

Or did I misunderstand your question?

Andy

Hello,
yes I mean that. But don’t work on my site test https://baz.racunalnicek.com.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
	<title></title>
	<script src='https://meet.jit.si/external_api.js'></script>
</head>
<script>
const options = {
    parentNode: document.querySelector('#meeting')
    roomName: 'JitsiMeetAPIExample',
    width: 700,
    height: 700,
}
meetAPI = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI("meet.jit.si", options);

</script>
<body>
<div id="meeting"></div>

</body>
</html>

It is any error anything. Site stay blank.

Thank you.

Terezija

Hi,

Move the script after the body end tag and add comma after the parentNode item.
