Jibri metadata.json

Hi @damencho . How to get full information of the recorded conference , Although i get partial informations in metada.json and it seems :
{“meeting_url”:“https://rtc-conf.XXXX.com/123",“participants”:[],"share”:true}

but i do not get conference name , recording id ,Owner of the recorder and number of participants .

Conference name is 123. Are you using jwt in your deployment?

Yes i am getting conference name , but not getting participants details and i do not use JWT .

So you are using username/password authentication, right?

There is a way to push the creator identity in this data, bit not participants, as this data is sent when starting the recording and people can join/leave after that … so if you want who participated in the meeting, you need to add some event logging in prosody and ad the end of the conference evaluate all the participants that were during the recording time for this conference.

yes i am using username and password . Please elaborate more about ( add some event logging in prosody )?

See for example this module: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/resources/prosody-plugins/mod_speakerstats_component.lua#L189 you can implement something similar reporting to some service - user join, user left, conference destroyed … so you can then extract all participants during a recording

We do gather participant data live in the call via this injected script. We put it into the recording metadata here. But, as @damencho said this uses an ‘identity’ field which we inject in prosody (in this module), so maybe you can add a different module which can fill out that field.
