Issue with moderation?

It was working where the person who created the room was the moderator and no one else was the moderator. Now I’m running into the issue where everyone is moderator, how do I go back to making it where only the room creator was the moderator?

Thanks,

Please look here,

if there is “muc_allowners”;
this option enable moderator rights for everyone.

I don’t have “muc_allowners”; in my config.

Did you check the right file?
This one:
/etc/prosody/conf.avail/subdomain.yourdomain.com.cfg.lua

substitute
subdomain.yourdomain.com
for your actual domain name.

Yeah,

/etc/prosody/conf.avail/

Still gives moderator.

I am using Openfire 5.4.1, Ofmeet 0.9.9, Jitsi Meet / master branch 04/30/2020.

All participants are moderators

How do I turn this off?

In my case, it was because I tried installing Jibri on the same server I had my jitsi-meet instance on. It was oddly giving everyone moderator possibly because of the /etc/prosody/prosody.cfg.lua or /etc/prosody/init.d/your.domain.cfg.lua or /etc/prosody/conf.avail/your.domain.cfg.lua. After reversing the changes though I’m not able to have more than one person on my server now. Which in a search here in the community brings up SSL mismatch but I didn’t change anything SSL related.
