Is there a way to drastically reduce client CPU usage when using jitsi meet?
I have succeeded in building jitsi meet server in virtualbox.
However, when the conference was conducted, the CPU usage of the client was about 100-200% when the camera and audio were ON.
This usage makes the PC, embedded, etc. used by the client difficult.
When I checked it out on the jitsi.org forum, I confirmed that there are many developers who have similar experiences to me.
Most of the way they talk about is how to disable various functions in ~config.js of jitsi server.
However, I think that the way to dramatically lower CPU usage than this method is to apply H/W codec (ex. H.264) to the video data received at jitsi conference.
How can I apply this method?
Or if you have another way, please give us your opinion.
