Is OCTO stable enough for production?

Hello everyone,

Jitsi-Videobridge OCTO protocol could solve many problems within our network environment and I’m wondering if it is stable enough for production servers with at least 200 users/days ?

It is already deployed on for few months.

Thanks @damencho
But I read in this article that there is some non-optimal bridge-to-bridge traffic when using simulcast.
Why should simulcast be a problem when off-stage layer suspension is implemented ?

It says “This allows for quicker switching between streams” … non optimal as that even that none is looking at some streams they go between bridges, but this allow quickly switching. Otherwise there will be few roundtrips before able to switch the stream which can be noticeable for the human eye.

Ok thanks for the clarification.
I will start implementing and testing it
