Is it possible to start a meeting without clicking Join Meeting ? It was possible in SDK 5.1.0 but it is not working in SDK 7.0.1

Hi,

I tried the following:
.setFeatureFlag(“prejoinPageEnabled”, false) - But I still got the blue “Join Meeting” button.
In addition, I also got “Join in low bandwidth Mode” - Is it possible to join in high bandwidth mode ? If yes can you explain how ?

You need to check the source code for this, the documentation is not up to date.

Do you know how to fix the bandwidth issue as well ?

Hi,

unfortunately I can’t help you with the bandwidth issue.
But does Jitsi not start (after join) in a high bandwidth mode? It might took some seconds to regulate the picture quality, so the normal join should be the “high bandwidth mode”.

Hi Manlo,

I don’t know what is the actual bandwidth because bandwidth is not stable.
I see that bandwidth depends on the video:
Idle video - Bandwidth drops to zero
A “lot” of changes in video - Bandwidth is increasing.
BTW - Is there a JAVA API to get the actual bandwidth ?
