Installed Jisti on my server

@damencho @bbaldino:

Need quick help, I have installed Jitsi meet from youtube vide before 1 month and it was working fine.

When today I have opened it and Its creating the meeting but not accessing the camera and micro phone (It is behaving like: http://prntscr.com/ltv8uf )

you can check my URL: https://jollity1.siplsolutions.com/

Could you please help me on the same…why it is behaving like this…I have hide few options of toolbar.

Or I am using something wrong see my below code how I am using my domain:

    <script>
        var userName = 'Raghu';
        var meetingRoomName = 'Jollity';
        // Call APi an dget full user details here
        var domain = "jollity1.siplsolutions.com";
        var options = {
            roomName: meetingRoomName,
            width: 600,
            height: 500,
            parent: undefined,
            configOverwrite: {},
            interfaceConfigOverwrite: {
                filmStripOnly: false
            }
        }

         var api = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI(domain, options);
         api.executeCommand('displayName', userName);
    </script>

I am adding this somewhere in my site using external API.

Also please suggest I am using the HTTPS so am I passed the correct domain name see below my code

var domain = "jollity1.siplsolutions.com";

Because if I am using the https://jollity1.siplsolutions.com then its creating the error and not creating the meeting.

So please suggest in case of https we should pass full URL in domain name or just the name of domain.

Note: SSL is required for Jitsi or we can use it without SSL too?

I didn’t notice any problems while checking your deployment. You don’t need to specify https. Check out the source here: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/f89f3f144f1bf1c3f1f3269db12c3e4b4431aa95/modules/API/external/external_api.js#L96

https gets prepended by default; http gets prepended if a noSSL option is passed. I believe for getUserMedia to work properly though you need to be on https. (edit: getUserMedia being the built in browser command to obtain the mic and camera input.)

Its done now :slight_smile:

Thanks for your response.
