Installation without systemd?

Hello,
I use a Linux system without systemd. After getting the key-ring and setting up repository settings I try to install jitsi via Synaptic, but marks a defect package jitsi-meet when selected. The package dependencies shows a jitsi-videobridge which is not automatically selected when jitsi-meet was marked. After selection of jitsi-videobridge Synaptic comes up with a message that jitsi-videobridge is dependent on systemd which is not installed and is not allowed to be installed. Is there any way of installation method to install jitsi without systemd installed?

Thanks for your help
Walter

We just removed that debian dependency on systemd for jvb and jigasi: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-videobridge/pull/787
You can get the update from the unstable repo.
The only problem I saw, when running in init.d environment that it doesn’t autostart after installation.
