Is it possible to install the jitsi-meet debian package without installing coturn at all?
I already have coturn set up and running on a different machine and I want to install everything else (jicofo, prosody, jvb, etc) except coturn. I know I could do everything manually but I’d rather use the quick install method and just leave out coturn.
Is there some flag I can use to skip coturn installation and configuration?
apt-cache show jitsi-meet | grep Recomm | head -n 1
Recommends: jitsi-meet-turnserver (= 1.0.4074-1) | apache2
man apt-get | grep -i recommend
Do not consider recommended packages as a dependency for installing. Configuration Item: APT::Install-Recommends.
But if I use -no-install-recommends it will also not install nginx and others.
I’m looking for a way to install all the other recommended packages except for coturn.
Sorry. My mistake. It seems the only recommended packages are coturn and apache2 and I don’t need either.
