I3wm applications not recognised for screen sharing

I use i3 window manager on my arch linux computer and use meet.jet.si on chromium browser. However, I am unable to choose applications while sharing screen. Also, if I have multiple displays arranged side-by-side using xrandr, sharing screen only allows me to share both the displays together and does not allow me to choose either of them.

Is it possible that I can either share a single application or put an application on the secondary display and share that?

Hi @Sakiv I’m afraid we have no control over that. It’s Chromium the one who gathers that information from the system. I do know that there are some problems with Wayland, and even if that’s not your case, it shows things might not be perfect on Linux. Sorry about that, but there is nothing we can do from the application side.
