i have installed jitsi in ubuntu 18.04 v and generated the letsencrypt certificates but my problem is now audio and video permission has not granted. could you please find my solution or any suggested solution give me.

Welcome to the forum.

When you said permission not granted, do you mean you’re able to start a meeting but there’s no audio or video? If so, check your firewall, make sure all necessary ports are open and accessible. Check port 10000/UDP in particular - make sure it’s open and properly forwarded if behind a NAT.

The status is looks like that:
To Action From

80/tcp ALLOW Anywhere
22/tcp ALLOW Anywhere
443/tcp ALLOW Anywhere
4443/tcp ALLOW Anywhere
10000/udp ALLOW Anywhere
80/tcp (v6) ALLOW Anywhere (v6)
22/tcp (v6) ALLOW Anywhere (v6)

4443/tcp (v6) ALLOW Anywhere (v6)
10000/udp (v6) ALLOW Anywhere (v6)

Where is your server hosted? You might want to check with your hosting provider to make sure they don’t have an infrastructure-level firewall as well.

yeah it is working properly i have check in my mobile it is blocked my microphone and camera. I have allowed that. it is worked. But in my computer how to see the microphone and camera permissions.

I have installed jitsi successfully, can you please help me in generating the lets encrypt certifcate? as I’m unable to do it.

What happens when you run the script? What error message do you get?

Thank you for the quick response. Here is the attached file of error for your reference.

What else do you have running on the server?

Nothing, see I will explain what steps I have used to install jitsi meet.

I have used AWS ec2 Instance Ubuntu 18.04 and installed nginx and then followed [Self-Hosting Guide - Debian/Ubuntu server · Jitsi Meet Handbook] all the steps till sudo apt install jitsi-meet (Jitsi Meet Installed successfully) and now I just to have Generate a Let’s Encrypt certificate so accroding to the steps after my Jitsi Installation, I have run this command
sudo /usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh

Probably something in your nginx configuration. Perhaps start over a fresh instance? You don’t need to install nginx before running the Jitsi install script - it will take care of it for you.

Make sure all required ports are open and accessible (letsencrypt needs port 80/tcp).

Okay, thank you. I will try and update.

Yes you were right there was a problem in Nginx. Thank you for the guidance, error resolved.
