How to remove the mute and kick buttons from a Jitsi Meet room?

Hello,

Could anyone tell me if there is a way to remove the mute and kick buttons in a (https://meet.jit.si/) room? I managed to create a url that restricts these permissions but when I reload page they are re-enabled.

I use the room with minors that play around with the buttons.

I could really use some help.

Thank you in advance

Welcome to the forum.

No, outside of the URL configs you passed, there’s no way for you to restrict those options on the public meet.jit.si. You have two other options:

  1. Host your own Jitsi server
  2. Subscribe to an 8x8 plan (just 99 cents/month right now) - 8x8.com/products/video-conferencing

How can I host my own server with windows?

I don’t have programming skills at all

You need Linux to host Jitsi server.

This is why that 8x8 subscription is an incredible deal. Honestly, you can’t go wrong.
[FYI: I’m not at all affiliated with the company and have no benefits whatsoever from recommending them. It’s just such an unimaginable deal that I can’t imagine how anyone would pass it by]
