How to maximise the number of concurrent users on a video bridge?

Hi all, the company I work for is looking to use Jitsi for virtual events/conferences.

Using a bridge with the following specs: 8 GB Ram, 4 Core CPU and 30 GB Disk; I’ve been told the bridge should be able to handle 100 concurrent users, however, I’ve also been told it’s possible to increase the number of concurrent users beyond this.

I wondered if anyone had any advice on how to go about maximising the number of concurrent users a video bridge can handle.

You need a Jitsi cluster with additional JVBs

Intrusions

Hi emrah, thanks for your response. If I were to use a cluster with three video bridges, is there a way to then increase the number of concurrent users these bridges can handle without adding more bridges to the cluster?

There is some data here which shows the limits of a JVB

Hi emrah, thanks for the information, appreciate your help.
