How to control who is granted moderator role?

Hi,

I’m sorry but I have tried to look into it and I get confused.

How to control who is granted moderator role?

Could somebody please either point me to some clear documentation, or make me a quick summary on how granting moderation rights work in Jitsi?
I thought that all you had to do when using JWT was to set the moderator boolean, but I fount out that this was only for Jaas.
I also tried setting and researching enableUserRolesBasedOnToken but it doesn’t seem to affect anything.
So, so far nothing works.

The only behavior I’m able to get is that everybody joining is promoted to moderator.
This could be an acceptable scenario. Another one could be to grant it only to the first user. But I also want a scenario where it can be bound to the JWT, like in Jaas.
How can I achieve that?

I’m gessing I’ll have to dig in the backend, but I’d like some pointers please.
Could somebody please either point me to some clear documentation, or make me a quick summary on how granting moderation rights work in Jitsi?

Thanks.
