How to call a user using JitsiMeetExternalAPI

Using the below example I am able to work with the Jitsi server configured in my network by replacing
“meet.jit.si”. I can see the list of people joined in the room. Everything working fine for me.

var domain = "meet.jit.si";
var options = {
    roomName: "JitsiMeetAPIExample",
    width: 700,
    height: 700,
    parentNode: document.querySelector('#meet')
}
var api = new JitsiMeetExternalAPI(domain, options);

I want to create a video chat application on my website. I am creating in ReactJS website. I have a user list. By click on the list, another user should get an incoming call notification. But I didn’t find the call API/method in the JitsiMeetExternalAPI. Please help me to incorporate my users into Jitsi environment and call to specific person/ group call feature.

I went through the https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/api.md and https://github.com/jitsi/lib-jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/API.md

Our API doesn’t offer that capability. You need to either build it yourself or use something like Firebase for example.

If i use <script src="https://meet.jit.si/libs/lib-jitsi-meet.min.js"></script> this library, can i get the same?
Is there any registration and login API inside any Jitsi library?
If you don’t mind could you please give me a clear cut idea on the integration part. I am blocked with this in a serious critical deadline project.
Please let me know do i need to move to another Jitsi alternative?

It’s a different thing. With lib-jitsi-meet you need to build the UI yourself, it’s a lower level library.

No.

I don’t understand what you are trying to build. If you already have a chat application to which you want to add Jitsi Meet, you calready have a communication channel between users. Typically, in this scenario, the user who starts the meeting generates a random URL and sends it over to the other participants so they can join. This is, for example, how our Slack integration works.
