Helm chart no bridge channel

Hello,

I try to make this helm chart work https://github.com/jitsi-contrib/jitsi-helm. These are the only changes I made to values.yaml (kubernetesnode is my minikube node ip):

publicURL: "kubernetesnode"
web:
  extraEnvs: {ENABLE_XMPP_WEBSOCKET: "0"}
  service:
    type: NodePort

jvb:
  UDPPort: 30000
  publicIP: kubernetesnode
  service:
    type: NodePort

Even though a videoconference seems to work at first sight (audio and video transfer works), I get errors in the browser log which indicate the clients can’t connect to JVB:

Any idea why that might happen? I have no problems in docker so i guess the chart is broken but there are 50 stars on github and the templates look alright which means it worked for many people that’s why i’m confused

Video and audio only worked after disabling security measures in browser. when adding the protocol http to PUBLIC_URL like it’s supposed to be I get the error that firefox can’t connect to wss://http// . I’m pretty sure i have to switch to https in order to make it work

You need https for webrtc.

yeah they should change the defautl values.yaml to https like the official docker project
