Hangs on "obtaining session-id" when I try to sign in

I recently upgraded my ubuntu installation using apt-get
and now when I try to start a meeting, I press that I am the host and go to sign in, but then it just hangs on “Obtaining session-id”

In the console I get the following errors:

2021-11-26T21:55:30.014Z [modules/xmpp/strophe.jingle.js] getting turn credentials with extdisco:2 failed, trying extdisco:1
2021-11-26T21:55:33.021Z [modules/xmpp/xmpp.js] Error getting features from lobby. null

I have tried registering new users and changing the authentication type from hashed to plain, but it doesn’t seem to work.

What is the issue?

OK! I managed to fix it after some more digging.

in the /etc/prosody/conf.avail/[HOSNAME].cfg.lua

I changed every line that said:

storage: "none"

to:

storage: "memory"

I can confirm that this fixes the problem. Had the same issue changed storage: “none” to storage: “memory” and then restarted prosody, jicofo and jitsi-videobridge2
