Error : Jitsi Install using Git Repo over Quick Installation

I have can someone help me out with this error.

I’m trying to install Jitsi using its Git Repo

Following steps mentioned in below links

I’m getting following error :

root@vcdemo4:/srv/jitsi-meet# make dev
rm -fr libs
mkdir -p libs
./node_modules/.bin/node-sass css/main.scss css/all.bundle.css && \
./node_modules/.bin/cleancss --skip-rebase css/all.bundle.css > css/all.css ; \
rm css/all.bundle.css
/bin/sh: 1: ./node_modules/.bin/node-sass: not found
rm: cannot remove 'css/all.bundle.css': No such file or directory
Makefile:76: recipe for target 'deploy-css' failed
make: *** [deploy-css] Error 1

Thank you for your time.

Problem was with the Ubuntu setup. It had the free tier EC2 instance didnt had the power to process make and other commands.

Later when I cloned and installed the jitsi-meet locally in my Ubuntu 18 LTS. And it worked fine for me.

So far I’m following steps for my development.

  1. Modify the changes locally.
  2. Run “make” cmd.
  3. Zip the file.
  4. Upload the changes on server (using filezilla)
  5. Unzip the files
  6. Check the changes.

Its not efficient and I’m looking for better ways to upload files on server for the time being.

It may help someone if they are facing similar problems
