Enabling external API with "standard" setup on ubuntu

Hello All,

I’ve been setting up the latest stable jitsi build following the description on : https://jitsi.org/downloads/
Quick Setup on a Ubuntu 18.04. works fine for testing on a LAN.
I could easily setup chrome extension to allow screen sharing.

I wish I could give it a try with jitsi meet electron now.

The doc on github says I need to expose external API.

It says how to create a symlink with NGINX
{
location /external_api.js {
alias /usr/share/jitsi-meet/libs/external_api.min.js;
}

I found also that it would be different with Apache Server. But the delivered buid is running with the Embedded HTTP server of Prosody.

Any advise on how to set the symlink with Prosody to correctly expose the API ? in which file ?

I tried to make a hard copy of /usr/share/jitsi-meet/libs/external_api.min.js to /usr/share/jitsi-meet/external_api.js but it didn’t trick the thing. (I did restart all services).

Is there any specific trigger I should also activate in jitsi conf files to get it working ?

Thanks for your help.
