Docker: Remove Watermark + Require Display Name

I’m trying out the Official Docker deployment, but can’t figure out how to do the following:

  • Remove the Jitsi watermark. Normally you would edit in interface_config.js
SHOW_JITSI_WATERMARK
SHOW_WATERMARK_FOR_GUESTS
JITSI_WATERMARK_LINK
  • Require users to enter a display name. Normally you would edit [your-hostname]-config.js
requireDisplayName

How do I adjust these with Jitsi Docker?

There are several ways to accomplish this.

  1. Use docker volume to point your custom config file into the containers /config/interface_config.js
  2. Use a custom image and copy your custom config file see example

Repeat for multiple files (multiple volume mounts or copy lines in the docker file)

Dockerfile

from jitsi/web:latest

COPY interface_config.js /config/interface_config.js
