Docker CORS Policy Issue

I have followed this guide to get a functional Jitsi server up and running…

But trying to follow this guide…
https://www.vttassets.com/articles/installing-a-self-hosted-jitsi-server-to-use-with-foundry-vtt#1pvQnqPLqeaGTtTFiQjtV3

I keep running into origin has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. or The ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header contains multiple values * * (double star) but only one is allowed." depending on wether I use the add_header ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ ‘*’; bit

@Fuji I know you’ve fought something similar in a local network environment but I have certs and all so I’m not sure what my issue is.

are u using docker server or manual/quick installation? are u creating room by api calling or direct in the server?

Using Docker server and my Foundry software is using an API call to initiate the room.

actually it was not about certificates… docker jitsi server has some changes so u also have to make some changes in api… is ur’s is running with https://meet.jit.si and isn’t running with docker server locally?
then may be the problem is in ur api that needs to be changed. I already answered how I coped up with that and also helped one with detailed solution. please check it out
