Docker-compose resets host config files

Everytime I run docker-compose, host config files in ~/.jitsi-meet-cfg get reset.
Is there a way to stop this from happening?

Prosody config file keeps reseting everytime I run docker-compose. I tried changing the files at ~/.jitsi-meet-cfg/prosody and at the root docker directory. The changes do not stick. I would like to implement these settings in the prosody lua file: cross_domain_websocket = true; consider_websocket_secure = true; Any ideas?

One question was for the container, the other question was for the host system. So they are not the same questions.
I am just trying to get 1 answer to some connected questions, but not the same questions. And am geting 0 answers.
I don’t understand why is there a safety switch in place that resets the config files.
Literally just trying to add 1 line to a file and am not able to…

If you’re trying to achieve one thing and looking for a solution, keeping that one in one question would probably make it easier for people to help you. Spreading it out across multple questions does not help.
