display bug on Windows Vista

#1

Hey guys,

I've noticed a bug with the button painting: in the chat window, when I
quickly move my mouse over and out of a button many times, some graphic
artifacts appear near to the button borders. I'm using Windows Vista with
Aero activated. I've attached two captures: one with the initial clean
painting of the buttons (those to copy, paste, ..., just under the menu bar)
and an other one after having moved my mouse over and out of the buttons
many times. Did someone else noticed this bug ?

Cheers,

Ben

Yeah, like every time. No matter if the appearance is Aero or Vista Basic.

Hi All,

The presence icons in the left column are all blue / orange SC icons.

As a user, I find this confusing and I would like to request that the
presence icon should remain as is for SIP presence, but be changed
to yellow / gray light bulb icon for XMPP presence / non presence.

Should the general consensus agree with me, I will add this in the
issue tracker as an enhancement for 1.0RC1 on Wednesday.

Regards, Earl

PS great work Werner for the multi-stream ZRTP, thanks.

Hi Lubo, Ben,

any ideas why this happens?

These are JButton-s with a custom painted background, for which we're using a png image, if this could help.

Cheers,
Yana

Yana, I didn't really have an idea. But the Javadoc of
JComponent#paintComponent(Graphics) said the opaque property should be
honored if the super implementation isn't called.

Ben, could you please check r4657?
