Hello,
I tried to install jitsi meet by following the instructions in the tutorial mentioned below:
https://jitsi.org/news/new-tutorial-installing-jitsi-meet-on-your-own-linux-server/

But when I execute the command “apt -y install jitsi-meet”

I get the following error:
jitsi-meet : Depends: jitsi-videobridge (= 1109-1) but it is not going to be installed

I did run “apt update”.

I’m trying to install it in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

You are missing java8 on that old distribution, which is a requirement. I would recommend to update to latest LTS.

O you don’t have systemd. Try switching to unstable repo, and remember after installing to start videobridge /etc/init.d/jitsi-videobridge restart.

This will be fixed in stable in the following weeks.

Ubuntu 14 does not have systemd, that’s why, use unstable or wait for the stable to be updated in the following weeks.
