CONFERENCE FAILED conference.iceFailed

Hello I am using the Jitsi Meet API as per https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/master/doc/api.md#jitsi-meet-api

and today I have encountered a show-stopping issue:

2020-05-09T14:14:44.136Z [conference.js] <ee._onConferenceFailed>: CONFERENCE FAILED: conference.iceFailed
2020-05-09T14:14:44.283Z [JitsiMeetJS.js] <Object.getGlobalOnErrorHandler>: UnhandledError: Script error. Script: Line: 0 Column: 0 StackTrace: null

** at se.getConnectionTimes (VM630 lib-jitsi-meet.min.js:10)**

WebSocket connection to ‘wss://meet.jit.si/xmpp-websocket?room=snugg-hlesg1e7en4ao4pvb9wl’ failed: Data frame received after close

The result is a situation where the video shows, then disappears with the following message on the screen:

What could be the issue? Both parties were on Google Chrome.

FYI anyone who is reading this.

The client encountered this problem in the event that they had google chrome extensions enabled (unsure which one in particular was causing the issue).

Disabling them resolved the issue! Thank you JitSi team and the community!

Any solutions on this?

One of my clients is facing this issue. They are behind a corporate firewall, and we have TURN server enabled on port 443. This works for every other corporate client but this one. Everyone who has faced this problem, can we try identifying the specific Chrome Extensions that conflict with p2p?

Hi, did you solve this issue?
Thanks

which extension?
thanks
