Clickable link in the config.noticeMessage

Hi, I would like to show clickable link using anchor tag that opens in a new window. i tried using editing config like this,

noticeMessage: 'Signup for free!! For more info <a href="some.website.com" target="_blank">click here</a>'

but it doesn’t work :sweat::sweat:
shows like this,
08%20PM

can someone give me direction, How can I accomplish this?

This is the web notice message implementation: https://github.com/jitsi/jitsi-meet/blob/7f29b47f3a59efdb665ee9d8f88027cfc5a89e8e/react/features/conference/components/Notice.web.js#L35. Right now it’s set to show whatever was set in config as text only. So it’s not possible right now to add your link without customizing that file a bit. I’m guessing you’re using a custom deployment of jitsi. If that’s the case, the easiest (not saying best) way to accomplish what you want could be to use dangerouslySetInnerHTML, https://reactjs.org/docs/dom-elements.html#dangerouslysetinnerhtml. So something like this for line 35:

<span
    className = 'notice__message'
    dangerouslySetInnerHTML = { this.props._message } />

Normally this could expose people to cross site scripting but I think config.noticeMessage is not overridable on the client side.

thanks @Lenny8 will try to do that
