Cert scripts not running

when i run “sudo /usr/share/jitsi-meet/scripts/install-letsencrypt-cert.sh” it starts by asking for my e-mail as expected but then afther i put my e-mail in it just returns to the command line having done nothing

I’m not sure exactly what’s in the script that might be failing to launch but should i just install a cert manually or will that mess-up in some way with a potentially half run script.

Which version of jitsi-meet is this, as this was fixed in the lastest stable which was released an hour ago.

ill update it now

well on one hand the problem seems to have been fixed, on the other its embarrassing to have had it be such a simple fix. but oh well thanks for the help

Glad it worked.
Well, the script was broken a while ago and we haven’t noticed it, and someone like you had reported it and we fixed it. So thanks for the report
