don’t attempt to specify a http scheme to connect to port 443, it’s dedicated to https.

DNS all right, it looks like a firewall problem, or you are in a country doing some blocking.

I don’t think, I am in Italy and everything is accessible. My firewall accepts all links so either I don’t think it’s a firewall problem.

If you can’t resolve the issue I will have to download packages with my browser and do a manual install, but I would like to avoid this.

I just downloaded all the most recent packages with my browser, so I don’t think the issue is special for me. Probably you can revise from your side, as by reading the forum I notice that this is not the first time this issue happens, and I am not the first user suffering it.
