Cannot get lib-jitsi-meet to work because of CORS

Hi,

I am trying to use lib-jitsi-meet in a app hosted on my own domain, but use the meet.jit.si infrastructure (or beta.jit.si for now).
When I try to connect, I get the following error in chrome:

Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://beta.meet.jit.si/http-bind' from origin 'http://localhost:8080' has been blocked by CORS policy: Request header field x-ijt is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.

I use these connection options:

const options = {
                    hosts: {
                        domain: 'beta.meet.jit.si',
                        muc: 'conference.beta.meet.jit.si' // FIXME: use XEP-0030
                    },
                    bosh: 'https://beta.meet.jit.si/http-bind', // FIXME: use xep-0156 for that

                    // The name of client node advertised in XEP-0115 'c' stanza
                    clientNode: 'http://jitsi.org/jitsimeet'
                };

What am I doing wrong? Or am I using the library in a way that it was not intended for?

I don’t think this will work. U gotta serve lib-jitsi-meet from ur own server. If you want to go serverless u gotta use iframe API

You have to use proxy. search how to use proxy for you app, because don’t know which one it is, react or angular…so search accordingly.
