Can I save the Jibri video recording with different video format

#1

Hi,
I have successfully finished Jibri installation and I get mp4 file. But can’t play the file with any video player. I have tried many of them but no one can play it.
Can I save the file from Jibri with different format?
Is there is any missing codec I need to install? I have tried VLC, Media play and others from internet.

Thank you

If you can’t play the file, I’d guess something else may be wrong. What’s the size? Can you attach the Jibri ffmpeg logs?

#3

Thank you for helping, attached is the ffmpeg logs.ffmpeg.0.txt (47.2 KB)

#4

Hm, nothing jumps out there as being a problem. If you want to do a simple test and attaching the file somewhere I can try plahing it.

Here is a link to the video file:

Actually, looking at the ffmpeg logs again it looks like ffmpeg didn’t shut down cleanly (the log just cuts off in the middle of it encoding). Can you attach Jibri logs as well?

log.0.txt (220.3 KB)

Here is the Jibri Logs, Thank you for your help.

That’s a lot of errors  I think the main ones at the top there are because you’re using java 9…use java 8 to avoid those. Let’s start with that and see how it goes.

This is my Java version: I am using 10 it is only limited to Java 8?
openjdk version “10.0.2” 2018-07-17
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 10.0.2+13-Ubuntu-1ubuntu0.18.04.4)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 10.0.2+13-Ubuntu-1ubuntu0.18.04.4, mixed mode)
