Build Environment to develop base on Jitsi-meet source code

Hi team,
I install jitsi meet quick install success. Now i wish build jitsi meet from code and understand to develope base on jitsi-meet.
Pls help me to build environment to develop.
some task that i actived:

  • download source code
  • install webstorm
  • install node 8

Once you have source code you need to install the dependencies: npm i

Then you can run your local copy and use our development servers by doing: make dev

That is, the frontend will be running on your machine and accessible in localhost, but the videobridge is somewhere on the internet. Make local changes and see how it updates!

I develop on Window OS. After run npm install, i run make but i dont work (I cant run make).
Pls help me build project on Window OS Env.

I install make on Window but when i run make on Webstorm, i get error:

I built code on Ubuntu and i done ‘make’.
I dont know how can run project for dev and test.
Pls tell me how.

If you run make dev it will run a development server so you can see the changes locally, while using our infrastructure for the server side.

When i open project jitsi-meet with Visual Code, i met so many problem i.e. [ts] ‘…’ can only be used in a .ts file; [ts] ‘;’ expected on API

disable typescript linter in vscode settings

I didn’t install TSLint, and disable some typescript on VSCode setting. But it still have same error in somewhere.
