Buffered and syncronised video playback during the conference from non-Youtube sources

I would like to make a feature request - to be able to play a video file to the group chat that is locally hosted or hosted in another place than youtube (i.e. google drive).

The problem with many conference platforms is that when sharing a video, the video is streamed live in low quality and the video and audio arrives out of sync to each of the participants at different times. Instead, if the video is pre-buffered and then played in sync across all participants simultaneously, the quality and sync is preserved. The reactions of the participants can then be live streamed like a normal video conference at a lower quality to the content.

The particular scenario I’m using this for is to share a video exercise class that each participant does simultaneously. The quality of the video and audio is paramount to making it work effectively.

Best Regards,
