Bad performance on ESXi

i am running jitsi in a ubuntu 19.10 VM on our VMware ESXi server. The VM hast 12 Cores, 16 GB of RAM and 1 GBit/s uplink. A IPv4 and a IPv6 address is assigned.

My configuration:

  • Installed from ubuntu packages
  • Used the setup wizard for Let’s Encrypt SSL
  • configured authentication using internal domain
  • Configured a host firewall:
    To Action From

My problem is that barely 4 users can use the instance at the same time. The CPU is smashing up to 100% and stays there after the conference finished. It’s the jvb process.

Can you help me please?
