Authenticate access to Jitsi Meet against WordPress user

Can anyone advise on best practices for setting up a self-hosted install of Jitsi Meet, to authenticate against a WordPress database for the user authentication? We have an install that has a "Secure domain” following the instructions in the handbook and I can see in this post there is an mod_auth_wordpress but not sure how best to implement it?

Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Hi @danmaby.

Did you make any progress in getting your Jitsi to use the Wordpress users for authentication?

Simon

Sorry for the really late response! No, I had to drop the project for a while but now returning to it.

If anyone has any advice on this, it would be appreciated?

Hey @danmaby . When I had last posted this question - I actually got it working in a test environment. I’ll need to revisit the steps and post it back here. It’s been a while since I played around with Jitsi.

Hey @mangopudding I’ve been the same - it’s been a while since I worked with Jitsi. If you are able to post anything, it would be appreciated.
