Audio/Video call API customisation

Hi, I am setting up a matrimonial website (and app later on), however, I require audio and video calls for members where they may have a guardian monitoring the call.

We would also need to set time limits on various membership plans.

Does Jitsi allow full customisation to allow such features?

Yes, you can customize as you wish, so long as you’re hosting your own server.

Hello and thank you for the quick response. Our site would be hosted most likely on AWS so would there be any issue with Jitsi on such hosting servers?

We would expect around 500 members / month in the first year and then expect rapid growth due to our digital ID verification. Our robust platform will be designed for unlimited members so can Jitsi take this many members?

Jitsi works great on AWS

The number of members doesn’t affect Jitsi. The number of concurrent sessions is important.

It’s possible to scale the Jitsi system according to the load. No problem for unlimited members

Hi, Thank you for your help. I assume this customisation also applies to the free Jitsi Meet API/SDK which we will be using.

Our audio/video call features must include optional Guardian(s) and will get the following notifications:

• Notify when user chat with other users 
• Notify when video call starts 
• Notify when audio call starts 
• Notify when video call ends 
• Notify when audio call ends
