Audio is not heard from ios mobile browsers

if the user’s screen got locked then he unlocks and unmutes

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Join a call from the iOS Safari browser and stay muted until the screen is locked
  2. Unlock the screen
  3. Unmute and speak
  4. Other participants couldn’t hear the user

This is a known Safari issue. The audio focus is taken away from Safari. There is not much we can do about it. You can sue the page visibility API and reload the meeting when coming back from the lock screen, otherwise you’ll always have audio issues like this. It’s alas not very deterministic.
