Anyone succeed with jibri on Amazon ECS?

Hi,

Has anyone had success trying to run the jibri on AWS Elastic Container Service?

My EC2 “host” instances are “Amazon Linux 2 (ECS Optimized)”.

They don’t have /dev/snd device, and when the jibri image is started I get "linux runtime spec devices: error gathering device information while adding custom device \"/dev/snd\": no such file or directory"

Well obviously all that alsa stuff is required on the host but I am far too inexperienced with AWS to know what to do…

So I’m hoping a fellow Jitsinaut more experienced with AWS ECS than me can give me some pointers!?

Thanks,

Hi,
Did you solve this issue?

I did not. Its parked and we aren’t offering conference recording right now.

In any even I’m not sure how to scale it.

Just FYI
Solved by creating custom ecs-optimized image based on Ubuntu 20
