Again,,TOOLBAR!

I have looked this up, believe me, got to the point of:
jitsi-meet/config.js at 7dd9785e48b9e6fb92f3cd5b07d5abf4e7611d6e · jitsi/jitsi-meet · GitHub

but don’t know what to do after that! I tried cutting and pasting ‘chat’ right after the first bracket but it didn’t work…! what to do exactly with L#570 to disable all the buttons and only enable chat?

toolbarButtons: ['chat'],

Tries that already, didn’t work!

I’m confused. You clearly didn’t make the configuration change, looking at your config.js.

As advised, that array needs to have only chat uncommented, if that’s the only tool you want accessible on the toolbar. And where did you get this bit from?

This is what you should have in your config.js if you only want chat in the toolbar:

 toolbarButtons: [
    //    'camera',
    'chat',
    //    'closedcaptions',
    //    'desktop',
    //    'dock-iframe'
    //    'download',
    //    'embedmeeting',
    //    'etherpad',
    //    'feedback',
    //    'filmstrip',
    //    'fullscreen',
    //    'hangup',
    //    'help',
    //    'highlight',
    //    'invite',
    //    'linktosalesforce',
    //    'livestreaming',
    //    'microphone',
    //    'participants-pane',
    //    'profile',
    //    'raisehand',
    //    'recording',
    //    'security',
    //    'select-background',
    //    'settings',
    //    'shareaudio',
    //    'sharedvideo',
    //    'shortcuts',
    //    'stats',
    //    'tileview',
    //    'toggle-camera',
    //    'undock-iframe',
    //    'videoquality'
 ],

Yes, I was showing my code after returning it to normal, so do you mean removing the (//) before ‘chat’ will make it work?
And the ‘__end’ is in the code itself I didn’t make it… should I delete it?

I tried uncommenting (removing the //) but instead, the room didn’t open! and it gave a gray page… when I commented it back the room loaded…!

I took the copy you put here, and pasted it instead of mine, and it worked, the thing is it works for ALL…! meaning on my moderate account, can I make it work only on participants ?
